Process

I've always been a fan of Demotivators. I've always loved making fun of blogging. I find this is only fitting:

And here I am, writing my first blog post ever, incorporating both. Oh the irony.
Why the change? Excellent question. To go forward, I think I must backpedal.

I've always enjoyed Demotivators as deliciously sarcastic one-liners of social commentary juxtaposed with an inspirational picture. They are witty, sharp, and unapologetically honest. While I dearly love sarcasm, I think what draws me most to Demotivators is their blatant honesty. Block lettering uncringingly declares the thoughts and attitudes that many percolate but few acknowledge. We are often hard-pressed to find such honesty.

So why am I blogging? It's an avenue for me to be honest with myself, my friends, and others. I wanted to create a virtual space that I can access anywhere to share both my fully-formed, carefully crafted conclusions and my disorganized wrestlings for processing life as it comes at me.

In short, me blogging makes no sense. Maybe I'll eventually make sense of all this after all.
